Mike Burns

Mike joined Solebury in 2021 after working as an Associate at Mizuho Securities within their Equity Capital Markets practice. At Mizuho, Mike worked on over 65 equity and equity-linked transactions raising over $75bn in proceeds across a diverse group of sectors with a primary focus on the technology, media, and telecom space. Mike also helped build the firm’s SPAC investment banking capabilities and worked on a number of SPAC capital raising and advisory transactions. Since joining Solebury, Mike has provided equity capital markets counsel on over 30 engagements across a variety of sectors.

Mike earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Richmond. While at college, he was a member of the Men’s Division 1 lacrosse team where he helped the Spiders advance to four conference championships and an NCAA Tournament berth.
